Privacy Policy
This policy describes how Shelf AI Vision handles images and request data processed by the API.
Data Processed
The API processes uploaded shelf images, request metadata, model outputs, and operational telemetry needed to route, rate-limit, debug, and secure the service.
Image Retention
Production receivers are configured not to archive uploaded images for public API traffic. Uploaded files are stored temporarily while a request is processed and are deleted after processing completes. Short-lived operational events may include request metadata and small image thumbnails for monitoring and debugging.
Operational Retention
Status and request event data is retained for a short operational window, currently about one hour. Infrastructure logs may retain request IDs, status codes, timing, worker routing, and error labels. Do not upload sensitive personal data or confidential content unless you have a separate agreement covering that use.
Third-Party Processing
When accessed through RapidAPI, requests are also processed by RapidAPI according to its platform terms and privacy practices. RapidAPI subscription and user headers are used for authentication, billing, and rate-limit identity.
Security
Traffic to the public API uses HTTPS. Internal worker routing uses private infrastructure controls and authentication tokens. No internet-facing system can be guaranteed perfectly secure, so customers should avoid uploading regulated or highly sensitive data without a dedicated agreement.
Contact
For support, deletion, privacy, or security questions, contact support@shelfaivision.com or use the RapidAPI support channel for this API.
